Assad and Hezbollah terrorists broke the ceasefire deal reached with opposition fighters in Wadi Barada only hours of its coming into force on Thursday. The terrorists resumed attempts of sweeping in on Ein al-Fijeh from many axes.
"Four Assad regime’s helicopters dropped multiple barrel bombs on the towns of Wadi Barada. The concentrated attacks on Ain al-Fijeh and Deir Meqrren. The is no sign of de-escalation in Assad airstrikes," Orient News correspondent Mohammad Abdulrahman said.
The reached German-sponsored agreement stipulated Iran-backed militias’stopping their military campaign on Wadi Barada and allowing the maintenance teams to enter for rehabilitating Ein al-Fijeh water facility after Hezbollah-Assad bombardment rendered it out of service.
