Assad terrorists intensify deadly attacks on Wadi Barada
Assad terrorists launched Saturday an offensive on Wadi Barada which is the fiercest since the start of the campaign some twenty days ago, according to local activists.

The terrorists attacked Wadi Barada from multiple axes in order to seize the towns of Ein al-Fijeh and Ein al-Khadra despite the presence of maintenance teams, which were allowed in to fix the damaged Ein al-Fijeh spring facility, on Friday as a part of an agreement between opposition fighters and Assad regime, activists said.

Assad regime did not adhere to the ceasefire deal. Saturday at dawn, Assad and Hezbollah terrorists launched a wide-scale offensive on Bassimeh and were able to control huge swathes of land in the village.

Clashes are now taking place on the front of Ein al-Khadra as Hezbollah and Assad terrorists are attempting to tighten their grip on civilians and opposition fighters in the town, local sources told Orient News.

Opposition fighters asked maintenance teams to leave Ein al-Fijeh as Assad regime violated the ceasefire agreed to yesterday, according to the same sources.

On Friday, maintenance teams entered Wadi Barada. Opposition fighters agreed on Assad regime’s conditions of raising the regime’s flag on Ein al-Fijeh water facility only to save the lives of civilians. Despite that, Assad regime resumed bombardment on Wadi Barada, breaching the deal.
