Assad regime targets its negotiators in Wadi Barada
Assad terrorists and their allied Hezbollah mercenaries targeted on Thursday a number of Assad representatives of those who came to negotiate locals in Wadi Barada to reach a ceasefire in the area.

Assad terrorists and the allied Hezbollah mercenaries targeted the car of the Assad senior representatives, including the Assad national security council representatives and the head of Damascus mayor’s office. More than one car were burned by mortar bombs shelled from the Assad republican guards’ locations, Orient New correspondent said.

"Opposition fighters agreed on Assad regime’s conditions to save the lives of civilians. The Assad regime’s flag was raised on top of Ein al-Fijeh. In the afternoon, orders were given to Assad Republican Guards to target the flag and the cars of the negotiators, who were on their way to the agreed place of negotiations. The flag was downed and the cars were burned,” one of the locals said in footage published by locals in Wadi Barada to clarify the circumstances of the story.

“Assad terrorists aimed in failing Wadi Barada ceasefire deal at accusing opposition fighters of standing behind the failure. In that case, Assad terrorists would have the pretext to kill as many as possible of children and woman in Wadi Barada,” the local in the footage added.

On Thursday, Assad and Russian warplanes intensified bombardment on Bassimeh village in Wadi Barada in Damascus western countryside as Iran-backed militias tried to foray into the village from multiple directions. The bombardment was the fiercest on Bassimeh and Ein al-Fijeh. Assad and Russian warplanes targeted Bassimeh village and its valley with at least 30 airstrikes, while helicopters dropped around 20 barrel bombs on residential areas. Tens of tank shells also pounded the civilian-populated areas.
