Assad terrorists conducted on Wednesday (January 11) multiple deadly airstrikes on the towns of Awtaba and Hazrama. The terrorists also attacked Ein Terma and Douma with mortar bombs. The indiscriminate attacks killed many civilians in a preliminary death toll.
The Assad air attacks came after opposition fighters in Jaysh al-Islam frustrated many attempts carried out by Iranian militias to occupy new areas in al-Marj in Damascus eastern countryside, according to Orient News correspondent.
Meanwhile the civil defence volunteers (White Helmets) said today on their Facebook page that they rescued many civilians to the near makeshift hospitals and inspected the attacked areas in the aftermath of the airstrikes in al-Marj.
Damascus eastern countryside’s cities, especially Douma witnessed heavy fighting as Assad terrorists were exploiting the Russian-Turkish Syria ceasefire to occupy new areas. Most attacks were launched from the International Damascus-Homs Highway.
