Opposition confirms it still controls Ein al-Fijeh spring town
Opposition fighters’ factions, operating in Wadi Barada valley, have negated the news circulated by Assad regime’s media outlets that Assad terrorists controlled the town of Ein al-Fijeh and the water spring area.

A military source in Wadi Barada told Orient Net that opposition fighters were able, on Sunday, to kill 12 Assad and Hezbollah terrorists.

The news about Assad terrorists’ advances in Ein al-Fijeh town are groundless, the source added, pointing out that opposition fighters are steadfast and Assad terrorists were not able to make any advances in Wadi Barada.

For its part, the Media Committee in Wadi Barada said that Iran-backed militias tried storming the town by launching attacks on the axes of al-Huseiniyeh and Bassimeh, while Assad or Russian warplanes targeted Ein al-Fijeh town with several airstrikes, leading to a number of injuries.

On Sunday, pro-Assad media claimed that Assad terrorists were able to control Ein al-Fijeh town and the town’s spring after a successful infiltration operation, and that hundreds of civilians were evacuated under the protection of Assad terrorists.
