Iranian journalists apologize to Syrians for crimes committed by Tehran
More than 299 Iranian journalists and activists issued on Saturday a statement in which they apologized to the Syrian people for the role their regime was playing in killing Syrians.

Excerpts from the statement read: “Many states of the world have been wronging the Syrian people for years. In this occasion, we (the Iranian activists) condemn the role the Iranian regime was playing in Syria. We also assure that the Iranian people had nothing to do with the policy pursued by Tehran regime in Syria," according to Zamaneh Radio.

It is worthy to remind that NCRI, a group of political prisoners in Karaj in western Tehran wrote a similar letter in which they denounced the crimes committed by the Iranian regime and its mercenaries in Syria. The letter also expressed their prisoners’ solidarity with people in Aleppo after they were displaced from the eastern enclave of the ancient city by Assad terrorists and their allied Shiite mercenaries.
