Assad, Hezbollah terrorists continue bombing Wadi Barada

Assad and Hezbollah terrorists continued Tuesday their bombardment of the villages of Wadi Barada northwest of Damascus. The bombing killed six civilians injured many other in the last 24 hours.

Assad and Hezbollah terrorists tried to advance in the Jamiat area near the village of Bassimah, but opposition fighters were able to repel the attack killing 20 terrorists and destroying three tanks.

Assad terrorists have been using a new type of indiscriminate improvised bombs. They are filling tires with explosives, metal shrapnel and fuel before dropping them from high locations. When the tires reach the ground, they detonate causing considerable damage and dispersing shrapnel in all directions.

Wadi Barada, located 18 kilometers northwest of Damascus, consists of 13 villages; ten are under opposition control while three are occupied by Assad regime.

Assad and Hezbollah terrorists have been waging a fierce attack on the villages of Wadi Barada since last week. The bombing and shelling of the area killed many and caused considerable damage to property and the vital Ain al-Fiejah spring facility which provides much of Damascus and its countryside with drinking water.
