Opposition foils Iranian militias’ attempts in Aleppo, its countryside
Assad terrorists and allied militias renewed Monday evening their attacks on areas liberated by opposition in Aleppo and its countryside, hours after the US-Russian brokered truce was ended unilaterally by Assad regime, Orient News correspondent reported.

A number of Hezbollah terrorists and other Shiite militias were killed, as Jaysh al-Fatth factions and Fatth Halab operations room repelled their advancement attempts towards the 1070 Apartment project in al-Hamdanyya neighborhood, to the southwest of Aleppo, Orient News correspondent Ammar Jaber reported.

Opposition fighters also foiled advancement attempts of the Iranian militias towards the Watermelon Market, as the militias were trying to advance from positions in 3000 Apartments project in al-Hamdanyya neighborhood, as well. An Assad T62 tank was destroyed by opposition on this front.

To the north of Aleppo, Assad terrorists, backed by Shiite and Palestinian militias, launched a series of attacks targeting opposition fighters’ positions in Handarat, amid aerial and artillery bombardment on the area.

These developments come after Assad regime’s declaration of unilaterally ending the US-Russian brokered truce in Syria.

It is worthy to remind that Iranian militias besieged, at the beginning of the current month, the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo after occupying al-Ramoseh neighborhood, south of Aleppo.
