Opposition launches offensive on Assad terrorists in Quneitra

Opposition fighters announced on Saturday the start of launching a major offensive on Assad terrorists and their allies of Shiite mercenaries in al-Quneitra south of Syria, Orient News correspondent said.

"The Qadesiyya of the south" is the name of the offensive in which Ahrar al-Sham fighting group is taking part.

"After heavy preliminary shelling on Assad terrorists, we killed at least 20 of them taking control of al-Hemriyya Hill and large areas of the Brigade 90 in al-Qureitra northern countryside," one of the commanders in Fatth al-Sham told Orient News correspondent.

Orient Net received a copy of the announcement published by the allied groups which said that losing Darayya did not mean the ultimate defeat because Darayya’s fighters would launch offensive after offensive on Assad terrorists.

Taranja and Al-Hemriyya were among the first Assad terrorists’ positions attacked on Saturday.
