Assad regime’s intense bombardment on the liberated areas in Hama northern countryside made civilians flee from their houses to the city centre where they were denied entry unless security checks were conducted. Their applications to charities and humanitarian organizations were rejected if they were in the city, while the applications of the pro-Assad IDPs were facilitated.
