Jaysh al-Islam inflicts losses on Assad terrorists’ lives, weapons in Damascus eastern countryside

Jaysh al-Islam, the main opposition fighting group in Damascus eastern countryside, said in a statement that its fighters inflicted heavy losses in the ranks of Assad terrorists and they also seized large amounts of ammunition and weapons in the battles which erupted in the last three days.

"We killed more than 200 terrorists of Assad regime and the Palestinian Liberation Army group. We also destroyed a number of Assad regime’s tanks and seized two in Damascus’ eastern Ghouta," the spokesperson of Jaysh al-Islam said.  

The last battle was different from its other military offensives in preparation, size and planning, as it erupted on an area of about 12 square kilometers. Orient News correspondent Mohammad Abdulrahman sent exclusive photos of the seized military vehicles and scenes of the battle. Tires were also burned to scramble Assad jet fighters and prevent them from attacking civilian areas.
