Opposition targets Assad terrorists’ fortifications in Jobar

Al-Rahman Corps announced on Tuesday launching a new offensive aimed at hitting Assad terrorists’ positions and fortifications in Jobar neighborhood in eastern Damascus, according the media office of the corps.

Fierce fighting took place between al-Rahman Corps’ fighters and Assad terrorists in Jobar neighborhood, according to Orient News correspondent, while Al-Rahman Corps’ media office published a video footage showing one of its tanks storming Assad terrorists’ fortifications in the neighborhood.

Al-Rahman Corps confirmed that this offensive comes after two previous ones on Jissrin and Mohammadyya fronts in eastern Ghouta.

In the interim, new fighting broke out between Jaysh al-Islam’s fighters and Assad terrorists in Hosh Nasri in eastern Ghouta, according to the media office of Jaysh al-Islam.

Jaysh al-Islam’s media office also said that Jaysh al-Islam fighters ambushed 14 Assad tanks and military vehicles, rendering Two T72 tanks, one BMP vehicle, and a military bulldozer permanently inoperable.

Assad tanks were ambushed while they were trying to storm Hosh Nasri area.
