Assad jet fighters carried out Sunday aerial attacks on Erbin city in Damascus eastern countryside, leading to many injuries among civilians, Orient News correspondent reported.
The airstrikes, which targeted residential areas in Erbin, were four, according to activists.
Civil defense volunteers rushed to the scene to rescue the injured civilians.
While searching the rubble, civil defense volunteers were also targeted, but no casualties among them were reported.
It is worthy to mention that these attacks come as today marks the third anniversary of the chemical massacre in eastern Ghouta, where more than 1500 civilians lost their lives in 2013 after Assad regime targeted a number of towns in eastern Ghouta with chemical weapons.
