Al-Araby warns of escalating hostilities in Syria
Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby has warned of the consequences of the recent escalation in hostilities and violence in Syria.

In a statement on Tuesday, Al-Araby denounced the terrorist attacks that targeted innocent civilians in the coastal towns of Jableh and Tartus of Latakia province.

The Arab League chief expressed serious concern over the Syria-wide hostilities that are likely to undermine the "cessation of hostilities" agreement sponsored by Washington and Moscow, and reaffirmed during a recent meeting for the International Syria Support Group (ISSG).

Al-Araby urged the concerned parties to exert further efforts for the truce to sustain, and also to provide favorable climate to resume UN-backed talks in Geneva, Kuna reported.
