Assad prominent terrorist poses next to dead bodies

Syrian social media users have circulated photos online of the well-known Assad army commander posing next to dead bodies in the eastern Syria’s Deir ez Zor province.

Tasked with leading Assad military operations in Deir ez Zor, Issam Zahreddine was reportedly photographed with two hanged bodies behind, both of which ostensibly bear the marks of torture.   

The identity of the two killed people remains unknown, sources told Al Jazeera. They both appeared to have been cut into several pieces before being hanged.

Zahreddin’s son and other soldiers reportedly appear in similar pictures that have circulated on social media in recent days.

"Bashar Assad  has always claimed that he is fighting ISIS, while his terrorists committed more atrocities and violations against Syrians than ISIS, but the world is internationally turning a blind eye. ISIS’ atrocities did not reach scale gravity frequency of those committed by Assad terrorists," Syrian activists said.
