New Hezbollah senior terrorist killed in Syria

According to Lebanon Files, Maghniya was killed in Syria without reference to the exact place and time of his killing.

Meanwhile, activists reported that Maghniya might have been killed during clashing in either Darayya or Khan al-Sheih in eastern Damascus countryside.

Maghniya’s killing took place one week after Hezbollah announced that one of its highest-ranking military officials, Mustafa Badreddine, was killed.

With the latest killing,  Mohammed Jawad marks the third Hezbollah member killed in Syria from the Lebanese Maghniya family – which is closely affiliated to Hezbollah "leader" Hassan Nasrallah.

In 2008, most senior Hezbollah military figure, Emad Maghniya, was assassinated in Damascus while his son, Jehad, was killed early last year as an Israeli airstrike targeted a military point for the party in al-Quneitra in southern Syria.
