Assad regime dodges agreements with Hama prison’s detainees
Detainees in Hama central prison appealed to the international community and all international organizations, on top of which is the UN and the Red Crescent, to interfere to oblige the Assad regime to honor the agreement concluded with them and to maintain the safety of all detainees.

The detainees confirmed that they accepted this agreement provide that the Assad regime honors it, but the regime did not show any commitments so far.

The regime was supposed to release 50 detainees last Monday and other 60 on Tuesday according to the agreement, but only 20 detainees were released and detainees now fear that the regime is planning a massacre in the prison.

The Syrian coalition asked the international community to bear its responsibilities and called in a statement Tuesday evening to act quickly to guarantee the implementation of the agreement saying that the Red Crescent International Committee should observe such implementation.
