Music in Palmyra, massacre in Idlib while the whole world is dancing
While Russian musician, known by his close ties to Putin, Valery Gergiev was leading a symphony orchestra in “liberated” Palmyra, British Sky News TV was publishing documents about the coordination between Assad regime security apparatuses and Emirs of ISIS about the organization’s withdrawal from Palmyra and how to hand it over to Assad forces.

The documents also included many information about business relationships in the fields of exchanging oil with chemical materials and agents the regime has been providing to the extreme organization.

However, the Russian orchestra played in Palmyra was an extension of an international dancing in the pool of the Syrian blood since Sky News or the BBC before and tens of Western media outlets will not build the case according the information they have received about that coordination. The news here elapse with the pass of time. The world will return to its attitude represented by the regime’s version of the story about ISIS.

The music played by the Russian players is much more effective than thousands of documents which have come to public and which prove that ISIS is not an enemy to Moscow and its allies. The world has been convinced by the Russian story that Moscow is willing to eliminate ISIS. However, Syrians are paying the price for this fake story in blood and massacres committed in Aleppo and other different parts of Syria.

At the eve of the concert Assad warplanes were bombarding a refugee’s camp in north of Idlib killing tens of children and women. This imbalanced justice unfortunately is going to reproduce the Syrian scene in a way that serves Assad while the world is considering the Syrian tragedy as a complicated view in which Assad regime is the part that can be coexisted with.

This immoral stubborn attitude will be responsible for recreating more hatred and vengeance while the world which doesn’t want to hear from Syrians any more pain is not provoked by bombarding refugees’ camps. Let’s go back at this point and ask about the real criminal? Is it the refugee who fled the warplane that is bombarding him with barrel bombs or the regime protected by the Russian music?
