Twelve Syrians have been arrested today in Lebanon under the pretext of entering the country in an illegal way.
"Lebanese Army units in the area of Dinnieh-North Lebanon arrested Saturday 12 Syrian nationals on charges of illegal entry into Lebanese territories, and handed-over to the concerned authorities for necessary action," an Army communiqué indicated, NAA reported.
The Lebanese Army and other security forces have been arresting Syrian refugees in Lebanon for different excuses, the most frequent of which are not having proper documentation and entering the country without obtaining a visa.
