If Assad with his planes, barrel bombs, cluster bombs, interstitial missiles and all other sorts of internationally prohibited weapons is not shelling civilians, who could it be?
Does not Mr. Assad know that Syrians ran away because of his brutal acts?
Has Assad forgotten that he, in 2006, expanded his use of travel bans against dissidents, preventing many from entering or leaving the country? In 2007, Assad Parliament passed a law requiring all comments on chat forums be posted publicly. In 2008, and again in 2011, Assad blocked social media sites such as YouTube and Facebook. Human rights groups have reported that political opponents of Assad are routinely tortured, imprisoned and killed.
Assad has never been fair with Syrians. Attested to this fact is Assad’s prisons which are full of innocent detainees. Many civilians were detained in the last five Syrians for their crime of demanding freedom and justice. Assad, in the interview, could not deny this fact, but claimed that the thousands of Syrians in his prisons are all terrorists.
Assad in the interview said that there is nothing called opposition and anyone who opposes him is termed “terrorist.”
When it comes to blockade and starvation in Syria, how can Assad deny responsibility while his forces supported by Hezbollah militias are the ones besieging Syrian cities and towns and starving their inhabitants?
Almost all world organizations proved this but Assad still accused the world of being biased against him.
How can Assad deny shelling civilians while all the world sees his planes and those of Russia killing Syrians everywhere in Syria? Assad claims that all those being shelled are terrorists. The tens of thousands of children, women and old people whose houses were demolished on their heads by his planes are considered “terrorists” by Mr. Assad.
Trying to show his care for Syrians, Assad fell in the trap and admitted his coordination with ISIS in Raqqa when he says that his regime continues to pay the salaries of employees and sends vaccines for children there.
How can Assad do this without full cooperation with ISIS? Why is Assad not sending aid to Madaya and Zabadani? Is it because there is no ISIS there?
Assad in the interview rejected the idea that he might select a successor and said that “this country is neither a farm nor a company.”
Was it seen as such by Assad the father when he selected him as a successor?
We wonder when this person would stop lying!
