For the first time, Assad terrorists target al-Marj with barrel bombs
Assad helicopters targeted al-Marj area for the first time with barrel bombs in eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside as a quick response to the fatal human losses Assad regime incurred during the past few days.

Orient correspondent Hadi al-Mojannad reported that Assad helicopters dropped 5 barrel bombs on Housh al-Salheyya and al-Nashabeyya axes in al-Marj area that was witnessing heavy clashes between opposition fighters and Assad terrorists backed by Shiite militias.

Orient correspondent pointed out that Assad regime targeted al-Marj with barrel bombs for the first time as such weapons were not used for 2 years in Ghouta.

Assad regime used to target the area with guided missiles, cluster bombs and ground to ground rockets. In addition, eastern Ghouta lies in Assad terrorists’ range of fire.

This came after, pro-Assad media outlets reported the killing of more than 130 Assad terrorists mostly from the Elite forces of Republican Guards in an opposition fighters’ ambush in Tal Sowan in eastern Ghouta.
