2 dialysis patients die in eastern Ghouta
A second dialysis patient died Monday after the only kidney dialysis center in eastern Ghouta stopped from working. Ghouta is besieged by Assad terrorists and alley militias who did not allow patients to evacuate  the city.

The center used to treat 17 dialysis patients in average 3 sessions a week and after running out of the necessary medical supplies, equipments shut down and the center was announced out of services.

The "Unified Medical Office" in Damascus countryside said that the lives of the 15 patients remained are at risk and may die any soon.

the Medical office sent out distress calls, before the death of the 2 patients, urging international organizations to accelerate the entry of medical supplies of dialysis medications or evacuate patients, but there wasn’t any response.

The siege of eastern Ghouta began in mid-2012, when Assad regime limited travel in and out of Damascus. The regime cut the supply of electricity that November, followed by the cutoff of water and wire and cell communications. In March 2013, it began limiting what could move into and out of the area, and later it banned the import and export of food and medical supplies.
