Brigadier General Mohsen Qajarian, the commander of Imam Reza Armored Brigade 1 from Neishabour, Northeastern Iran, was killed in Northern Aleppo countryside, Fars News Agency reported.
Brigadier General Qajarian had been in Syria for sometime offering military advice to Assad forces.
Fars also reported that "at least 13 Iranians were killed in Syria during recent battles and all of them were IRGC members".
At least four top commanders of IRGC have been killed in Syria since the beginning of 2015, including Brigadier General Hossein Hamedani who was killed in Syria on Oct. 8, Trend News Agency said.
