The Turkish Red Crescent organized a humanitarian campaign to aid the Syrian refugees living in camps to cope with facing the chilling winter season.
The Turkish organization released on its website a statement urging for a winter campaign to be conducted as soon as possible. It stated, “Come, let us all pitch in one more time in these difficult times, let us heal their wounds, the Syrians are waiting for our help once again this winter.”
The humanitarian organization called for its Turkish citizens to participate in aiding the Syrian refugees by providing monetary or any kind of assistance.
