Opposition fighters foil Assad terrorists attempts to progress in Latakia countryside

Opposition fighters on Wednesday evening foiled Assad terrorists attempts to progress in Latakia countryside on Tal al-hdada axis, al-Akrad mountain killing and wounding many of them.

Activists reported that opposition fighters targeted with a TOW missile a vehicle of Assad fighters while they were withdrawing from the area killing about 30 and wounding many others. Assad regime media announced the death of 13 and the wounding of 15 of their fighters in the attack.

This coincided with Assad forces arresting a number of youths in Latakia city.
