Opposition delegation to participate in Geneva talks with all of its members
Orient sources confirmed that the Syrian opposition has decided to participate in the Geneva peace talks with all of its 17-member negotiating team and 25 members of the High Negotiations Committee (HNC).

They are expected to arrive in Geneva in the next few hours.

Assad al-Zubi confirmed that the entire 17-member opposition delegation will be going to Geneva to take part in the talks.

Al-Zubi added that the delegation had received support concerning the composition of the Interim Governing body and the delivery of aid to the besieged areas.

However, Riyad Naasan Agha, the spokesman for the HNC, said that the opposition was going to Geneva to test the credibility of the international will in the implementation of the Security Council resolution, which calls for lifting the siege on the cities, and to test Assad’s ability to seriously conduct the negotiations.
